Irvine Housing Opportunities, Inc. (IHO), a 501(c)(3) corporation, was formed in July 1976 to address the shortage of affordable housing in the City of Irvine. Today IHO has expanded our service area to include several Southern California counties and we continue to be dedicated to developing exceptional affordable rental homes, improving the quality of life of our residents, and being good stewards of our resources.
As a hands-on, mission-driven nonprofit developer, IHO is involved in all aspects of our properties from design concept to property management, site amenities, energy efficiency upgrades, and community building. Additionally, IHO is committed to improving the quality of life of our residents through an array of dynamic services that empower residents, strengthen families, restore dignity, encourage independence, and enrich the greater community.
IHO has more than 35 years of experience owning and operating thriving affordable homes where bonuses are paid in hugs from our residents and the earned respect of our community partners and stakeholders.
